The excellent care I received from Dr McCann and her team in a terrifying emergency was , reassuring, the expertise in care, compassion, and her professional approach to me . She is certainly a very valuable Consultant to R.P.H. She listens and explains what she feels is the correct treatment with such kindness, I had been ill, and my GP was not at all helpful, getting worse my husband rushed me to Hospital, after scans blood tests etc we were told I had multiple PE's and needed Thrombolising immediately , to save my life. Thankfully all went well and my life continues , Thanks so much Dr McCann.Your care has been very much appreciated . Also thank you to R.P.H. a wonderful hospital when in need of treatment. C . Dr McCann gave me my life back and i cannot thank her enough. I had been ill for over a year and every day chores became a massive effort. I had been to see my G P on a number of occasions over the year and i feel they let me down. I am now on the right medication, all thanks to Dr McCann

Dr McCann really put me at ease by taking the time to listen to me, explaining test results, symptoms, causes. I felt she was thorough, asking questions about me in a holistic way, not just isolating the symptoms I was presenting. She explained how she came to the conclusion she had in a way I could understand, and clarified any medical terminology. I feel thoroughly reassured after my appointment with her and she is a credit to the NHS.
